born in south korea as the middle child of three daughters, the chung household was always buzzing with activity. even while growing up hana had a knack for dancing, she would put on little shows for her family dressed up in her older sisters clothes. her parents supported the dream from the start, despite the fact her father was adamant on his daughters growing up to be upstanding citizens and earn excellent grades in school.

never being one for organised education, this made hana act out a lot more than her siblings. often times the young girl would simply skip class, more often than not she got caught and rightfully disciplined, it seemed as if hana was just born with a natural streak of trouble in her.

animal lover all the way, somehow she just knows that she isn't yet responsible enough for a pet of her own so she makes multiple trips a week to local shelters, providing assistance if need be and mostly hanging out with all the animals, taking them for walks and such. it fills her heart with such love that she can't stand skipping even one visit so she makes sure to get out there every chance she gets. especially if she's been having a particularly bad day.

moving to huntington beach when she was only 16 years old, at first it was a visit intended for foreign exchange students, hana ended up loving california so much she pretty much never went back home and her parents transferred her to the school she was visiting. quickly she made many friends and moved in with her homestay family who she considers her second family now.

while she attended high school in america hana also took cosmetology classes on the side at night. being born with insomnia, she figured it would be a good trade to have under her belt and little did she know then how much this knowledge she learned would save her ass later.

has been taking all sorts of dance classes over her lifetime, from the time she was little practicing ballet up until now even, taking classes with her friends and mutual instructors. from the start it inspired hana to become a certified dance instructor, it was just the perfect fit for her and also helps keep her in shape, give her focus and goals to achieve which also pleased her father.

• although hana often appears as attention seeking, she really isn't and only seems to express that while dancing. in reality she is a sweet, open minded and kind hearted woman. if you're family, friends with her or chosen family then she will protect you fiercely until the end.

despite the fact she's a bit of a scaredy cat, halloween is one of her favorite holidays and a tradition she loves to partake in is haunted houses. granted she's always screaming and nearly running halfway through them, it's all in good fun and she even loves dressing up.

began teaching dance classes herself when she turned 21 years old, she's only been doing it for two years now but genuinely feels like she's made lifelong friends and even some new chosen family. she especially loves teaching kids or young adults, hana simply wants to inspire someone else the same way all her instructors had inspired her over the years.
